Ratna Timsina is an environmental management and policy expert with over 12 years of experience in environmental assessment, project management, and policy development. Holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, he has contributed to sustainable development initiatives across both government and nonprofit sectors.
Currently pursuing an MBA at Carleton University, Ratna has worked with various levels of government, including the Government of Ontario. He has led key programs such as the Ontario Brownfield Financial Tax Incentive Program (BFTIP), Ontario Agricultural Drainage Policy, and the Land Use Planning Inventory Network (LUPIN), supporting municipalities in sustainable land use planning.
Beyond his professional roles, Ratna is actively involved in community and social development initiatives. He serves on the Darlene Port Robinson Community Centre Board, the Environment, Climate Change, and Biodiversity Committee for the City of Thorold, and the Resource Exploration & Community Empowerment Committee of the Non-Resident Nepalese Association. His participation in the United Way Campaign further highlights his passion for fundraising, community engagement, and program development.
