Nepalese in Niagara (NIN) successfully hosted its Annual Summer Picnic 2025 on August 02, 2025 at the scenic Kingsbridge Park in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The event was a wonderful opportunity for community members to come together, celebrate, and enjoy a day. It was great fun, food, and fellowship with the community members in a natural setting.

Over 100 enthusiastic community members participated from across the Niagara region. Families, youth, women, and children attended, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere showcasing the diversity and unity of the community.

Cultural Cuisine
Participants enjoyed the mixed cultural food, offering a delicious taste while fostering togetherness among the Nepalese community.
Fun & Games
Five engaging games were organized to entertain participants of all age groups. The goal of these activities was to encourage teamwork, laughter, and healthy competition. Key activities include:

- First Attainer
- Blind Box
- Run the Approach
Children, youth, and women actively participated, which reflects their great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Sam Beauty Salon sponsored the game prizes, which added excitement to the players/participants. With warm, sunny weather, participants enjoyed a relaxing picnic atmosphere at the junction of the Niagara River and Welland River. The stunning views of rivers in a natural setting provided a spirit of recreation and rejuvenation.
The NIN Summer Picnic 2025 was a resounding success. It strengthened social connections, promoted cultural pride, and created cherished memories for participants. The organizing team extends heartfelt gratitude to all community members, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions made the event meaningful, joyful, and memorable.
